Beads for the Brave

How one Main Street business is getting involved in supporting those serving overseas.  One bead at a time.

Have you heard of Beading Therapy? Of course you have!  Beading can help lift someone emotionally, give you a mental break from life and encourage peace and relaxation.  Beading can also be used to help someone physically  with developing fine motor skills,  hand eye coordination and many other uses as one recovers from an injury.

Since 2002,  women have served nearly 170,000 tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. I hope to bring some smiles to all those serving and even some smiles on the faces of those here at home missing them.  Moms, sisters, aunts, anyone can make a piece of jewelry or art and send it home to a loved one.   So any one that would like to donate beading tools, beads, or any supplies, please contact Jennifer Curran at Simply Bead’N Around.
